Hellbound Chapter 11 - The Tempest Rises

Tantalus stood upon the balcony of the 'Tartarus' Heli-carrier observing all his troops clambering into the Daedalus transports, running is hand over the railings. The hour was almost up, with a few minutes to spare. Tantalus noticed a soldier signaling to him from the flight deck indicating his flight was ready for departure. He strode off and headed down the metallic staircase leading to the flight deck, where his own customized Daedalus Transport was waiting, a large heavy high tech transport copter with heavy armoured plating and two gunner positions located on either side of the transport. The large steel door lowered to allow Tantalus to step onto the deck of the Daedalus Transport, a commanding officer approached Tantalus, "We're all set sir. Ready to leave at your command, the comm is yours."

Tantalus grabbed the mic and punched the comms button to activate the system. His loud voice echoed through the Flight Deck, the control room, through every single area of the carrier even reaching to each individual Daedalus transport.
"Attention all units, we are ready for departure. All Daedalus Transports begin Operation Repentance, E.T.A on U.S soil is 5 hours 40 to, Daedalus Alpha will strike Washington D.C, Beta will target New York City, Charlie is to strike Los Angeles and Delta will strike Chicago. Each of these major cities, when we attack, will put a dent into the U.S military. We strike as a single unit and simultaneously, this will bring down any major threats. Remember soldiers we are Tartarus, we will bring Hell itself upon this Earth!"
Tantalus switched off the comms unit and proceeded to the cockpit of the Transport, resting his arms against the seats of the pilots.
"All this world is filled with, is hatred and malice. All I grew up with was torture, evil and betrayal and with each passing day growing up in that god forsaken 'Orphanage' all I wanted was to be free. Heh, now it is my turn to strike back, this world will know peace when I eradicate the very existence of evil itself and I want to start with the Organisation. Pilot, lead Alpha to New York City, my job won't be finished until I see the head of the Director!"

"Yessir, charting course for New York City, all Alpha transports departing, E.T.A 6 hours for team Alpha. Initiating launch sequence..."
The engines of the transport begin to spin up, making whirring sounds and causing the dust around it to fly off in miniature twisters. The Daedalus transports began to hover upwards off of the flight deck in swarms, dozens each assigned to a team. An impending invasion was on it's way, well only what can be perceived as an invasion. Each group flew off into the distance away from the Tartarus carrier before taking their time to splinter off into their designated directions.
The inside of Tantalus' transport rattled on the inside, the troops holding onto their weapons and constantly thinking of what will ensue when each transport arrived in their designated city. One soldier spoke up, a captain, addressing Tantalus.
"Sir, question?"
Tantalus turned to glare down upon the Captain wanting to question him.
"Yes, Captain? What is it?"
"Sir, when do we begin the Icarus Initiation? I'm just curious because it'd be more effective to begin our plans with the Icarus Initiation rather than just running in with basic soldiers."

Tantalus stood there for a moment in silence, stroking his chin while analyzing the Captain speaking before him. The Captain's question was shortly answered.
"The Icarus Initiation is to be used when we have a foothold in the US, the basic soldiers will make our mark onto US territory and begin to act as the recruitment service to further our numbers. When we have good strength in each city, then the Icarus Initiation can begin, that's when we start to really wipe hatred and evil from this world. We have the superior tech compared to other companies and military forces and unlike other military forces, we will find the right time and place to use them rather than to be hasty. Is your curiosity satisfied now Captain?"
"Yessir!" The captain nodded and leaned back into his seat, his eyes avoiding contact with Tantalus.


Ash, Chris and Bill had gathered all of the Hellbound together and assembled them in the meeting room, also known as the dining/living room and now waited in silence due to Chris' sudden reappearance, which previously caused the Chess Player to throw himself at Chris only to be pulled off along with the words "That's enough hugs 'Chubbz'". There were several Skeleton Krew gathered as well, acting as guards and representatives of the Skeleton, carefully scanning the area while staying close to Bill, despite how many times Bill stated that there was no need to stay so close.
The silence had finally gotten to Chris, he stood up and took in a deep breath before coming out with his announcement. 
"To start off, I should tell you the truth about me, well as much as I'm allowed to. Ash and the Skeleton Krew are aware of this, so I might as well tell you all. My name is not Chris Sutherland at all, I am Yuri Stovonovich from the Russian Spectre OPs, former leader of Team Alpha and currently a Special Operative. My mission (Chris glanced toward Ash, who turned away and scanned back toward the main group of the Hellbound gathered) is to gather all possible intel on the Organisation and its leader The Director, we've had dealings with him in the past and as of now it all stops! This is why the Skeleton Krew are here, they are here to help us organize an attack on the Organisation and hopefully the Spectre OPs will join in soon too. Now I have a question for all of you, as my brothers and sisters, will you all be willing to join us? I won't force any of you"

All of the Hellbound sat in silence unsure of what to make of all this, each one looking at one another. Chris was about to leave it at that and indicate to the Krew members to up and leave, when Chubbz the Chess Player stood up, arms at his side and full to attention, yelling at the top of his voice (he wasn't used to public speaking). "I'LL JOIN YOU TOO CHRIS!! BROTHERS STICK TOGETHER!!!" He then quietly sat back down, blushing slightly. Chris blinked a couple of times, aghast and surprised but at the same time proud but before he could say another word, the voices of the rest of the Hellbound began to join in and shout out that they'd join in as well. It seemed Chubbz had given the spark of morale. Chris walked proudly to Chubbz and clapped his hand on his shoulder, "Thanks, Brother" and gave a heart filled smile.
The moment of pride was interrupted by a single Hellbound member who caught sight of the t.v blaring from the other side of the room. "Hey guys, ya might wanna see this..." The Hellbound member beckoned everyone else over to the t.v, their feet thundering as they stomped across the room to see what was happening and their questions were answered. Being broadcast was the national news across the US and currently being shown were countless helicopter like transports flying into the major cities, the headline below read; US Military and Congress in debate on how to respond to current event. Perceived to be a possible invasion but there have been no signs of any attacks. The Hellbound and the Skeleton Krew viewed the news broadcast, one Krew Member muttered as a detailed view of one of the transports came on screen, displaying its emblem.
"That symbol looks familiar... Yeah, yeah it does cuz I think one of my cousins wanted to join a group that had that emblem. What was it called again? Tinitus, Titus... uhh... no wait I got it... TARTARUS! That's it... wonder why the group was named after an English sauce... pfft morons!"
Everyone stared blankly at the Krew member in disbelief and astonishment, anyone who highly doubted that Tartarus was named after Tartar sauce gave quite the sarcastic look.
"What?"
